Chase your dreams..they do come true

Its feels really nice when our dreams come true..My most cherished dream of joining IIT KGP has at last been fulfilled and I express my gratitude to the Almighty for this . Of course, my self-belief has gone notches higher. Somewhere deep down I had a notion that there is a call from IIT that is waiting for me..right from JUly'2010. When people were apprehensive of any such thing, like a call from IIT, I was a adamant on my belief. Though I was frustated at times since there were no events folding to validate my belief. At last,things did turn out rosier and in the month of October an interview call landed up in my lap. Needless, to mention I was on the seventh cloud. Things therefrom did took a twist and turn but as they say alls well that ends well and here I am in IIT KGP. Today is papa's b'day, a significant day for sure. I have planned to plant a tree here around the place of my temporary stay with the motive that it will mark my days here...it will be my reminiscent of period of stay , expectedly the most beautiful days of my life..LIFE IN KHARAGPUR...

Well, the subject line of this post is inpired by Sachin Tendulkar. Actually, I come across a few days back this quotation of his. I am living a dream and believe me no happiness is greater than this.. !!

There have been times when I have felt like thers no point in living and I should take 'sanyas' but then thers something that reminds me that there are enough promises to keep. The quest for happiness or rather peace is unending and truly....there must be truth in the lines..:
so the point to learn is we have to brave ..brave enough to fight the odds and savour the best moments in life..for "We never said life was easy, we only said it is worth". It is best to devote oneself to something closer to his/her heart and strive for making your existence count. It is no point leading an ordinary life..

I pledge to lead my life as I have imagined it..I even request all the folks who care to spend their precious time reading this blog that do live your dreams. Dreams are the only thing that bring fun to our life..and be brave to listen to your heart and chase them...

The above is one of my fav poems and the most pushing lines of the poem are " Stick to the fight when u r hardest hit..when things seem worst u mustn't quit". Thanks to these quotes, they have pulled me out of the deadliest of situations time and again. The zeal to hang on is the most enthralling I bet.We human beings have got immense power within, which we hardly realize. Personally, I have felt it is very important to listen your heart, very very important. But then listening to your heart may not be the "ready to use" recipe. You will have to invest your time with yourself which is easier said than done. From my personal experiences my solitude(which lets me to be with myself) and the will and hunger to win has sailed me through all turbulent tides.

It is imperative to believe in oneself!! This reminds me of a quote by Steve Jobs:

"Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. Apart from these quotations I must say my faith in my religion has been a constant pillar of strength for me. Jainism always says "thers nothing outside and everything within". For me inspiration is something that drives you towards your dream, motivation is sth that keeps u at it. Hence we require it regularly!!

Satisfaction

Well, these days may be perhaps I am the most complaining being on earth. For I am spending days almost doing nothing!!! And I really need work to do!!More often than not, I really can't help my being in such state of things and am desperate to come out of it. I am currently working in a place which happens to be my first job place, yet there isn't much to do. And believe me its disgusting to sit doing nothing. Moreover, there are other factors that are equally playing role like scrutiny over you and very formal behavior which is of a sort leaving my hands tied..to explore new areas. I just hope things will be brighter !! Fingers crossed. This has been my first blog and it is more of an avenue to vent out my feelings.Thanks for bearing with me..whoever reads it!
